Impact Challenge 2019
Cambridge Public Schools received $6,000 for a food vacuum sealer to augment a weekend backpack program and reduce food waste.
Conscious Alliance was awarded $5,000 for their program to bring food relief where it’s needed most, to hungry children in underserved communities.
Power of Change, created by Harvard College student Christi Lee, received $1,000 for the 50 Cents Challenge, which helps Massachusetts students donate to hunger relief through local food banks.
Tufts University’s New Entry Food Hub won a $4,000 grant for a program to train new and immigrant farmers, with the produce going to underserved people.
